Donald Trump’s latest Social Media venture called Truth Social appears scheduled to be launched in Apple’s App Store on Monday.
Former US President, as well as businessman Donald Trump, is all set to launch his social media venture, ‘Truth.’ The app is scheduled to launch in the Apple App Store this February 21 (February 21) following posts by an executive who has an early version of the app that Reuters saw.
In the fall of 2021, Trump has announced that he was launching a new social media platform called Truth Social to “stand up against the oppression that is Big Tech.” The app is operated by the recently established Trump Media & Technology Group.
In a series on Twitter late on Friday night, the verified account of the network’s chief product officer, who is identified as Billy B., answered questions regarding the app from users who were invited to test the app during its testing phase. One user inquired whether the program, which had been in beta testing this week beta testers, would be made available to the general public.
“We’re in the process of releasing to the App Store of Apple App store on Monday, February. 21.” an executive said.
Truth Social account with one tweet called “truth,” which he uploaded on February 14: “Get Ready! Your beloved President will see very soon!” On February 15, Trump’s oldest daughter, Donald Jr, tweeted the image of the verified account of his father, @realDonaldTrump.
The debut Truth Social would mark the return of the former US President to social media following his ban. he was blocked from Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube in the wake of the January 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol by his supporters who were accused of having posted messages that incited violence.
The parent of Truth Social, Trump Media & Technology Group, is led by former Republican US Representative Devin Nunes.
According to the company’s Chief Product Officer, Truth Social will issue a policy regarding verified accounts over the following weeks.
